Softeners in Sex toys – no reason to be worried.
Whether it concerns carpets, cars, food packages or medicines, you see softeners everywhere in your daily life. For kids toys however– and especially toys which can be placed in the mouth – there has been a special EU-direction since September 2005 which forbids the usage of certain softeners. In this way children, who are extremely vulnerable, can be protected from possibly harmful materials. It has however never been proved that softeners can affect the health of adults. The hypothesis of a possible influencing of the hormonal regulation, an infertility increase with women or a sperm production decrease with men has also never been founded, however has even been refuted in a study by a Swedish doctor team!
The sex toys we sell meet, without exception, all European legislation and rules. There isn’t a case of a client who suffered from health complaints after having used PVC sex toys, whether it concerned a vibrator, a dildo or vagina-balls. Should there be clients who would like to avoid using PVC sex toys, we then also offer a broad range of toys made out of other materials: silicones, latex, glass etc. It is guaranteed that no softeners have been used in the production of these toys.
